Job Overview:

Description: This full-time position reports directly to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the agency’s volunteer program as well as the planning and execution of programs and activities for those we serve.

Facilitating Programs

Facilitates and coordinates supportive activities/programs for WellSpring and HopeSpring families. Programs include:

• Cooking/Nutrition Classes
• Gardening
• Success Over Stress
• Financial Fitness
• After School Club
• Parenting Skills
• Family Night
• Seasonal Activities

These programs are done in collaboration with agency partners like Purdue Extension, Morgan County Coalition for Literacy, Morgan County Substance Abuse Council, Barbara B. Jordan YMCA, and Morgan County Health Department. Program manager will:

• Track cost of activities/programs.
• Collect attendance sheets and present them to Success Coach within one business day of an activity or service provision.
• Work with the DOO and Executive Director to create new programs for residents and/with community partners.
• At the request of the Director of Operations, generates reports for meetings of the board of directors.

Organizing Volunteers

Works in collaboration with the Director of Operations and the Executive Director to organize volunteers.

• Develops and maintains relationships with local colleges/university, churches, schools, businesses, and service clubs, for the purpose of creating internships and volunteer opportunities.
• Tracks and provides reporting of volunteer hours.
• Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with community resources.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
