Logistics Manager manages all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination. Implements an overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Logistics Manager oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Selects vendors and negotiates rates and service levels and monitors performance. Additionally, Logistics Manager ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Logistics Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. About the Position: Delivery Associates strive to get every order to the company’s door. You will be driving a safe, comfortable van while using the latest and greatest technology to locate and deliver packages. About the Responsibilities: We are currently looking for Delivery Associates that can handle on average between 180 to 250 stops per day in a fast paced environment using a state of the art Company Vehicles. This is a 7 day a week operation - 361 Days per year. You will be required to work 4-5 days a week. Minimum of one day out of the weekend is required. Both days are preferred. This is a full time position. The start time for the particular shift is between 9:00AM - 10AM . The routes scheduled for 10 hours.
What you need to know: We provide all the state of the art equipment and resources needed to perform the job (Company Vehicle, State of the Logistics and GPS Devices, Uniforms, Safety Equipment and Full-time and consistent hours).
