Selects vendors and negotiates rates and service levels and monitors performance. Additionally, Logistics Manager ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. What you will do:
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager for our third-party logistics company. The CS team serves as a key liaison between clients and our logistics operations. The team is responsible for managing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the supply chain process. The manager will ensure excellent service is being provided across the board. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership communication skills, a thorough understanding of logistics operations, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. You'll collaborate closely with various teams to streamline processes, track shipments, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
· Managing a team of Customer Service Representatives ensuring that clients service needs are always being met by the team
· Manage incoming inquiries from clients regarding shipment status, delivery schedules and respond via e-mail/phone in a timely manner
· Coordinate closely with internal teams such as operations, warehousing, and transportation to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries
· Schedule inbound containers/outbound truckloads and record on container scheduling log and daily shipping log
· Manage information in the WMS (3PL Central), including, allocating inventory to orders, confirming and printing labels, and closing out orders with all documentation saved (BOL) and pertinent billing information noted.
Requirements
· MUST HAVE – proven track record as a CSR Manager in the 3PL Industry -- managing and supervising multiple CSRs (3-5 years experience)
· Experience with 3PL Central WMS (Now called Extensiv) and Microsoft Outlook/Excel/Word
· Routing Experience to Major Retailers (TJX, Walmart etc.)
· Proficient in Customer Service and Communication to clients; both Verbally and Written
· Organized and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Bilingual English/Spanish (required)
