JOB SUMMARY:
Tribally owned and Oklahoma based general contractor specializing in US Government construction design/build projects. The Mission is to provide high quality services on time, on price point, benefitting our clients, while providing career opportunities and profits for the tribe. The Tribal SBA 8(a) certified company is seeking a Project Manager.
This is a full-time, long-term position located in Oklahoma.
The Project Manager is responsible for the safe completion of the project within budget, on schedule, to the Company’s quality standards, and to the customer’s satisfaction. It will be the responsibility of this individual to initiate the required action to achieve the project objectives and to ensure all project activities are consistent with contract documents and the Company’s policies. Project Management duties will also consist of submitting timely, competitive estimates, cost reports, schedule updates and meeting the revenue targets assigned. Project Managers are expected to be proactive in seeking business growth, development, and diversity opportunities. Typical projects range from $1M to $15M. Travel flexibility is key. The position is a hybrid model with most days on-site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects; taking projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Reviews and/or supports the development of program proposals and plans for schedule, budget, and for accomplishing program, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources.
- Establishes program plans and staffing requirements for each phase of program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of program personnel from functional departments. Confers with subordinate program/project managers and program staff to outline program plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Directs and coordinates activities of program personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, shares expertise with others.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Prepares and reviews program reports for senior management and customers as required.
- Confers with subordinate program/project managers and program personnel to provide technical advice and assist in problem resolution. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Coordinates program activities with activities of customers, subordinate program/project managers and off site/remote personnel.
- Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process; makes timely decisions
- Works to obtain quotes from Vendors and solicits bids on supplies, materials, and services as required by policy.
- Performs other duties related to position as necessary or assigned
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field. Preferred Civil, Structural, Architecture or Construction Management or Engineering
Computer software - Microsoft Project, PrimaVera P6, Procore, Matoc,Saber Contracts
Minimum of 5 years of experience on large construction projects
Experience working on government construction projects or with SBA 8(a) companies
Self-Motivated, driven individual with problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Experience showing a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Prefer US Citizenship & ability to obtain a government security clearance (up to Top Secret) Required. Subject to a background check and drug screening.
