Seeking an experienced Coating/Welding Fabrication Supervisor and NDT Inspector with a strong background in coatings inspection, welding, and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have practical and theoretical knowledge in fabrication and inspection, particularly in offshore environments. They should hold relevant certifications and demonstrate expertise in coatings, corrosion protection, and quality control for offshore structures.Responsibilities:- Lead and conduct thorough coatings inspections to verify quality, durability, and adherence to standards, with an emphasis on offshore assets.
- Manage and oversee welding and fabrication activities, ensuring they meet international standards and safety protocols.
- Perform NDT inspections to evaluate structural integrity, identify potential defects, and implement necessary improvements.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to promote a culture of high safety and quality standards, maintaining compliance in a challenging offshore environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, participate in “Tool Box Talks,” and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting of observations and lessons learned.
Key Qualifications:- Certifications: IWI (International Welding Inspector), IWS (International Welding Specialist), IWT (International Welding Technician), or IWE (International Welding Engineer)
- Coatings: Frosio Level III or NACE Level III certification
- Inspection Skills: NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspection experience
- Experience: Practical offshore and onshore coatings and welding inspection experience required, with familiarity in supervising coating and welding activities for offshore structures.
