Job Summary: We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient and safe processes, and leading a team to meet operational goals.
Shift: M-F; 7:00am-3:30pm Location: Kent, WA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Direct and lead all warehouse staff and temporary labor activities on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability to operate sit-down forklift.
- Coordinate and help manage the inbound and outbound - warehouse operations.
- Oversee and reconcile all warehouse supply needs.
- Lead monthly inventory physical counts. Report damages and inventory adjustments.
- Maintain and supervise safe working practices. Lead the Safety Team activities to comply with safe operating practices and governmental requirements. Maintain required safety record-keeping for review.
- Accountable for warehouse productivity, labor expense control, and inventory discrepancies.
- Responsible for all the warehouse conditions. Reporting issues to management.
- Reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education and/or Experience: Must have warehouse and forklift experience and maintain safe and efficient operating skills. Experince managing people - a plus. Computer skills – Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply sound judgment to carry out directives.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to safely lift and stack products with weights up to 60 lbs. Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet, or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts.
