The Fraud Program Supervisor leads cross-functional initiatives to proactively detect and prevent fraud from occurring. Supervises fraud detection associates in their effort to identify and prevent future fraud. Being a Fraud Program Supervisor researches, documents, and implements best practices in the fraud prevention industry. Regularly reviews the team's work product and makes recommendations as needed. In addition, Fraud Program Supervisor analyzes current processes and procedures and makes recommendations to promote more effective operations. Provides training and guidance to new employees. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Fraud Program Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Working as a Fraud Program Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The Opportunity:

    We are looking for an eagle-eyed loss prevention officer to monitor the movement of our stock. The loss prevention officer will be required to conduct surveillance, detect and act on suspicious activity, and ensure the recovery of stolen items. Where necessary, you should involve the authorities. To be successful as a loss prevention officer, you should possess the ability to conceal yourself in plain sight. An outstanding loss prevention officer would be willing to place themselves in potentially dangerous situations in order to maintain public safety.


    What You'll Do:

    • Walk around the store as you search for suspicious activity by customers and employees.
    • Identify potential thieves from customers or employees.
    • Approach and question individuals who seem to be acting suspiciously.
    • Apprehend any person who commits theft in compliance with company procedures.
    • Document theft and other violations of security, and what they observed on duty.
    • Record all attempted and successful thefts.
    • Recover stolen products and return these items to the sales floor.
    • Work with law enforcement to detain suspects of shoplifting or dishonest employees.
    • Provide eyewitness accounts at police stations, in court, and at other pertinent meetings.
    • Brainstorm ways to prevent theft and vandalism in and around our store.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Extensive knowledge of retail operations and loss prevention strategies and procedures.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
