Lister Chain and Forge is hiring for Machine Operators to join our team.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Functions:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Set up, operate and adjust chain making machines in accordance with established procedures.
• Observe machine operation during cycling.
• Take appropriate action to protect materials and equipment from damages.
• Check chain after fabrication to ensure finished parts meet required specifications.
• Perform related duties as necessary and/or directed.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

The position requires the following skills and capabilities:

• Desire to take on increasing responsibilities
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Willingness to work on multiple tasks with changing priorities
• Ability to work well with others
• Mechanically inclined with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write and perform math to generate timely and accurate documentation
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/physical screening and background check

Desirable Qualifications & Skill sets:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and mechanical aptitude desirable
• Experience with welding, metal machining practices, and heat treatment is a plus

Compensation:

• Full-time position/Day Shift 7:00am to 3:30pm/Swing Shift 3:30pm to 12:00am
• Wage Starting at $24.00 hour plus shift differential for swing.
