Machine Shop Production Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of operating machines that perform a variety of processing operations. Supervises assembly operations such as filing, aligning, fitting, and scraping of parts to ensure established requirements and standards are met. Being a Machine Shop Production Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Manufacturing Manager for our Machine Shop to join our team in Danielson, Connecticut.
As the Manufacturing Manager for the Machine Shop, you will:
- Apply the resources required to achieve the customer's request date through work assignment.
- Take a hands on approach to delivering superior quality.
- Identify root cause and provide solutions as part of SPIROL's ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
- Play a pivotal role in capacity planning and capital expenditure planning for the Machine shop.
Your strong machinist and supervisory experience will make you an excellent candidate for this role. Your demonstration of technical knowledge relating to machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, wire EDM, grinding) and programming will serve you well as a part of our Machine Shop team.
