Machine Shop Production Supervisor jobs in Bennington, VT

Isovolta INC is a global company that manufactures electrical insulating materials. Our facility in North Clarendon manufactures specialty tape. Our company is growing and is hiring our next Slitting Machine Operator to operate a semi-automated production machine.

We will provide the necessary training!

Key duties and responsibilities

· Respect the company values of teamwork and continuous improvement.

· Read and follow the production instructions, procedures, and policies.

· Setup the machine by selecting the correct knife blades and tape cores.

· Install the raw material roll for the production run.

· Run the production to the specifications required.

· Visually inspect for defects and perform measurement checks during the run.

· Label the final product and sort for packing.

· Completes production-related reports into the ERP data system.

· Maintains a clean working environment by following the "5S" principles.

· Respects and follows safety guidelines.

Requirements:

· Good attitude that is proactive, team oriented and respectful.

· Good mathematical skills.

· Capable of lifting 50lbs.

· Previous manufacturing/production experience a plus, but not necessary.

· Mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not necessary.

· Flexible when overtime is needed.

· Physical and drug test are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
