Key Responsibilities as a Food Production Supervisor for dnata Catering, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and high-quality production of food items for airline passengers. Your main role will be to manage and lead a team of production staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, in executing food preparation, cooking, and packaging processes. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the highest levels of food safety and hygiene, strictly following industry regulations and guidelines. Your expertise in production planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations will be essential in optimizing workflow, reducing waste, and maximizing productivity. The salary range for this position is $75,000.00 annual with weekly pay, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
EDUCATION: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 years’ experience in the field of manufacturing and manufacturing processes, preferable complex food production environments: e.g., airline catering.
