Position Overview:
The main focus of the Tool Room Technician is to build, maintain, mark, organize and manage the supply of work-holding fixtures, and cutting tools, ensuring availability for production which allows for operations at the highest standard of safety, quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Use and maintain company equipment to build, repair, modify and mark work-holding fixtures, gages and cutting tools.
- Produce prototype and lower volume items as needed.
- Provide re-work services as needed for the production department.
- Perform secondary operations on production orders as required.
- Perform Level II Machinist duties when required.

Qualifications/Education:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to complete each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. - 3 years as a Tool & Die Machinist or equivalent experience.
- Proficient use of manual machine tools, including knee mills, engine lathes and drill presses.
- Proficient welder.
- Ability to work from drawings, sketches and verbally communicated ideas or concepts.
- GED or High school diploma preferred.
