The Shipping and Receiving Manager will drive inventory operations to ensure customer needs are being met. Key components of this position will be providing instruction and direction for the shipping and receiving team. Strong attention to detail and organization are keys for success in this role.

This person will report to the VP of Finance and HR and lead a team of 4.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Manage shipping schedule by coordinating with customer service, quality, and production personnel.
• Accurately process packing slips and purchase orders to ensure that required documents are sent with shipments accordingly.
• Manage receiving including raw materials, outside services, and company supplies.
• Prepare BOLs/ labels for freight shipments, small parcel shipments (aka UPS/ Fed Ex) and coordinating courier pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Supervise shipping and receiving personnel and the packaging of customer orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 supervision experience in a shipping or receiving environment, machine shop preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to drive others to success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
