Description:

• Operate CNC machines efficiently and safely.
• Read blueprints, work orders and dimensions on drawings to perform assigned tasks
• Load and operate machines per work order and drawing instructions
• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and hand tools
• Monitor machines for problems and relay any problems to the shop supervisor
• Check raw materials for quality ahead of loading into machine
• Prepare raw materials to be loaded into the machine
• Prepare tooling for changeovers and perform machine changeovers.
• Follow production instructions of supervisor to ensure quality
• Carryout basic calculations with aid of a computer and calculator
• Follow written instructions
• Maintain quality and quantity with strong sense of accountability and high standards
• Complete work orders and quality control documentation
• Willing to cross train in other departments
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area
• Ability to program CNC via CAM software (Surfcam perferably but can train)

• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs regularly
• Able to work free of supervision
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
