Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests or residents. Your responsibilities will include various cleaning tasks in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas by following established housekeeping protocols.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored safely.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests or residents.
• Ensure outdoor spaces are cleaned from dust, debris, cobwebs, and leaves. Make sure windows are clean inside and outside and not streaky. Arrange outdoor furniture to create a positive first impression for guests.
• Perform interior touches such as; plump up cushions, straighten rugs, and arrange decor items. Also make sure blinds are pulled down and in an open position.
• Dust and wipe down every surface in home, including on top of cabinets, fridge, air vent, bookshelves, tv's, windowsills, bedframes, light bulbs, and light fixtures.
• Replenish promised amenities such as coffee, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap, and new packaged clean sponge.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred; experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to properties.
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus; but not required.
• Weekends are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
