What are we looking for in a Supervisor?
The Supervisor position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to serve as leader of the Outpatient I team, which serves clients ages 18 and older who are experiencing a variety of mental health and substance use disorders. The Supervisor provides direction, guidance, and feedback to each member of the adult outpatient team, including providing clinical supervision and additional training when appropriate. The Supervisor is also responsible for tracking clients’ treatment progress and coordinating admissions & discharges, monitoring team caseloads and productivity, ensuring staff’s timely & thorough completion of clinical documentation, and implementing quality improvement measures. In addition to these administrative duties, the Supervisor will also maintain a caseload of therapy clients and provide backup support to the team on all clinical needs. This role requires a confident clinician who can provide feedback and motivate others, while also exercising excellent clinical judgment and effective communication skills. This position is part of our Walla Walla campus and has a schedule of mostly Monday-Friday day shift, though extra hours may occasionally be necessary.
Supervisor duties may include:

supervising and coaching program staff and managing team schedules
-
providing clinical supervision to employees and interns as credentials allow
-
ensuring all staff adhere to trauma-informed & recovery principles
-
participating in direct treatment by completing mental health intakes & assessments, facilitating skill-building groups, providing therapy & case management services, and treatment planning with each client

conducting interviews and making hiring selections for team vacancies
-
gathering & tracking program data and implementing policies & procedures
-
tracking compliance with all applicable regulations and preparing for survey & license reviews or audits

collaborating with Comprehensive teams and community organizations to coordinate client treatment and make appropriate referrals
Qualifications:
-
Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field leading to eligibility for independent clinical licensure

Two years of experience providing behavioral health treatment as a social worker, therapist, or counselor strongly preferred

Must be eligible for or working toward independent licensure as LICSW or LMHC in Washington
-
Must be eligible for registration as Agency Affiliated Counselor
