Major Gift Director - Higher Ed. designs and implements a college/university fundraising program in the area of special and deferred gifts. Devises and executes plans to qualify, contact, and cultivate potential new donors. Being a Major Gift Director - Higher Ed. requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a department/division. The Major Gift Director - Higher Ed. manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Cashier / Floater: (Gift Shop and/or Greeter)
Qualified candidates should be friendly, honest, super reliable, a team player, and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills; be able to maintain focus and have a professional demeanor while serving a large number of visitors; show initiative; and be comfortable with operating a computer desktop POS cash register. Candidates will perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions and maintaining proper cash accountabilities at a POS cash register. Gift Shop candidate must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Greeter candidate must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
The UFO Museum is open 7 days a week 9AM - 5PM.
Full-time 40 hours per week work schedule from 8:30AM to 5:30PM.
Must be able to work weekends.
