As a Retail Sales Associate you will have the opportunity to assist out customers in selecting merchandise or purchasing tickets to visit one or all of our 5 unique museums.

Our mission is to provide education experiences for the public through the preservation and presentation of the historic resources of coastal Georgia and adjacent regions, included are Old Fort Jackson, PinPoint Heritage Museum, and Tricentennial Park comprised of the Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah History Museum and Savannah Children's Museum.
What you will be doing:
· Greet customers and ensure a pleasant shopping experience
· Open and close register
· Become knowledgeable of current sales, policies regarding payment and exchanges, security practices, and all procedures relating to register transactions on the POS register
· Assist with retail receiving, pricing and stocking shelves
· Ensuring your retail area is neat, clean and well organized
· Use your upselling skills to sell tickets to any of our museums and enthrall them with your knowledge of the activities available at each location
· Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Be willing to cross-trail in order to expand your career potential and find your true passion.
What you need to have to join:
· Prior experience in cash handling and operating a POS register
· Ability to work in an active environment with many diverse individuals from local to international students
· Be able to create a friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service
· Be able to meet physical demands of the job which included standing, bending, kneeling, walking, pushing and pulling objects and lift up to 50 lbs.
· Be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
