Managed Care Finance Director jobs in Kansas City, KS
Managed Care Finance Director directs and oversees all policies and procedures for the financial and data operations of managed care contracts. Manages contracts, negotiates and sets rates, and reviews reimbursement levels and managed care agreements to ensure that proper payment practices are utilized. Being a Managed Care Finance Director implements processes that encourage and inform the organization how to increase levels of reimbursements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Managed Care Finance Director typically reports to top management. The Managed Care Finance Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Managed Care Finance Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Pay rate range $18-$23 / hr shift and weekend shift differentials, depending on years of experience!
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Kansas Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Fulltime Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Lansing Correctional Facility- LTC located in Lansing, Kansas.
The Certified Medication Aide (Medical) (CMA) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and / or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and / or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration.
The CMA must monitor patients to report changes in their conditions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification or ability to obtain one required
- Must have graduated from a Medication Aide training program and have a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- One (1) year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional environment preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
SHIFT : 1pm- 9 : 30pm
