Position Summary:This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, ensuring the successful delivery of our finance and lending products on the Salesforce platform to customers. This role also works with the Head of Innovation and Strategy to shape the direction of our products and manage the cross-functional delivery of new capabilities into the marketplace.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and Project Management::
- Establish, implement, and continually improve Program and Project Management best practices, methodologies, and standards across the organization.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio management system, including prioritization frameworks and resource allocation strategies.
- Design and implement robust project governance structures and decision-making processes.
- Create and oversee a project performance measurement system, including KPIs and metrics for project success.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of project management tools and software.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive project management training programs for staff at all levels.
- Establish risk management and mitigation strategies across the project portfolio and conduct reviews with the leadership team on a periodic basis.
- Create and maintain a knowledge management system to capture lessons learned and best practices.
- Provide regular, detailed status reports and insights to executive leadership on project portfolio health and strategic alignment.
- Facilitate project portfolio reviews and stage-gate processes to ensure ongoing alignment with business objectives, including identifying and resolving project issues.
- Develop and manage the Program and Project Management budget, ensuring efficient use of resources across projects and business priorities.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all Project and Product Management activities supported in the company.
Product Management:
- Work with the Head of Innovation and Strategy to develop the product strategy and roadmap development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to define product requirements and priorities.
- Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs, identify product enhancements and resolve customer issues.
- Engage with key customers and partners to gather product feedback and insights.
- Present to executive leadership and the Board on product strategy and project status.
- Conduct market research on industry trends and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and direction.
Team Leadership:
- Provide mentoring and lead performance management processes/activities for project managers, developers, and administrators.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and monitor compliance and accuracy of project time and expense reporting for the team.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10 years of experience in project or product management roles for software/SaaS products
- 5 years of leadership experience in a technology company
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and ecosystem
- Experience in financial services, lending, or fintech industry preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
