POSITION OVERVIEW
The Recruitment and Retention Manager is responsible for talent acquisition, talent retention and career development with the aim of attracting, hiring and retaining a top-level, inclusive workforce.
DUTIES
- Designs and implements an overall recruiting strategy and refines recruitment plans based on department and/or industry needs
- Sources and recruits candidates by using databases, social media, etc. Attracts passive job seekers to apply to open positions
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits, including researching and proposing competitive base pay and benefits
- Maintains and develops the attrition and succession plans
- Creates and fosters relationships with colleges and professional organizations to attract and recruit qualified candidates
- Prepares and delivers presentations for recruiting events, training and orientations, data/trend analysis, and other related needs
- Collaborates with marketing to develop social media content that promotes ACHC s mission, in order to attract and retain top talent
- Develops internal communication and marketing initiatives aimed to promote employee engagement and retention.
- Works with the HR Manager to coordinate new hire orientation calendar and onboarding schedules for new hires
- Conducts routine employee engagement surveys, analyzes the results and develops an action plan for enhancement.
- Oversees the organization s employee engagement programs, including employee wellness
- Prepares analytical staffing reports using qualitative and quantitative data to track results and guide recruitment and retention efforts.
- Attends board and board subcommittee meetings as requested to present a monthly report of recruitment and retention activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous recruitment experience required
- High School Diploma/GED required; Possession of a Bachelor s degree in human resources, marketing, organizational psychology, public administration, communications, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable employment laws relating to talent acquisition/management best practices, and/or human resources principles
- Experience developing and presenting trainings both in-person and virtually
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems
