Adecco is currently recruiting for a long-term temporary Payment Clerk.

Work in beautiful downtown Lawrence and enjoy a professional office environment in an excellent location, with free covered parking. Casual dress code.

Hourly pay is $16.50 per hour.

Work hours are 7 : 55 am to 5 : 00 pm Monday through Friday

This position is open now and projected to last at least 6 months with potential to grow.

Responsibilities include :

Ability to work in a quiet environment while supporting others on the team

Communicating work orders to the team and following up to ensure all customer orders are handled by the end of each day

Receiving and posting payments on billing records

Accurately handling cash transactions and making change

Processing credit card payments

Providing some customer service and eventually answering phones

Ability to listen to customer concerns and escalating to account managers as necessary

Experience needed for this position include :

Cash handling and credit card processing a must

Using billing software is ideal

Ability to self-train on a proprietary software

Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

High degree of detail accuracy

Using CHAT as the communication method to other team members

Pay Details : $16.50 per hour
