Marine Cargo Inspector inspects cargoes of seagoing vessels to certify compliance with national and international health and safety regulations in cargo handling and stowage. May require an associate's degree with 2-4 years of experience in the field. Being a Marine Cargo Inspector is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Marine Cargo Inspector performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Must be able to repair, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and replace Marine Generators. Must have A/C and D/C electrical Knowledge, must be able to read wiring diagrams as well as any other associated diagrams. Must have own tools and a clean driving record.
