Title: Marketing Data Analyst

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: West Des Moines, IA

Hybrid (4 days a week onsite)

Purpose:

Client is seeking an innovative and motivated professional to join our collaborative Marketing team that uses data & insights to inform strategic & targeted marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll support the administration & maintenance of marketing data, audiences, and campaign lists that enable the execution of targeted, effective programs.

Accountabilities:

• Oversee and participate in the collection, management, and dissemination of internal & external data to support Marketing campaign & database initiatives.

• Extract and combine data from disparate data sources.

• Create, manage, and audit audience lists and segments for email, direct mail, call, event, and advertising campaigns.

• Gather requirements and selection criteria, and where appropriate make recommendations on targeted audience segments.

• Ensure all campaign lists are compliant with the applicable marketing preferences & restrictions of each distribution partner.

• Collaborate with Marketing Automation team on CRM FFset up & management.

• Develop expertise in Marketing data and systems.

• Maintain detailed documentation for all processes, including management of a marketing data dictionary.

• Strong understanding of data governance to ensure best practices are followed relating to business intelligence deployment, delivery, and security.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or Business) or equivalent plus five years relevant experience required.

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• REQUIRED: Experience with relational databases with ability to merge and analyze data from various sources and of differing formats.

• REQUIRED: Data mining experience in coding SQL with a minimum of 3 years using analytical tools.

• NICE TO HAVE: Experience creating reports in CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation (Marketing Cloud).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously and deliver solutions on time
