Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
- Assist with corporate accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries and month-end close procedures
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Stay up-to-date with technical accounting standards and regulations
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Quicken) to record financial transactions accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
