Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has experience in public accounting, is proficient in double entry bookkeeping, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Process payroll and ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions
- Assist with corporate accounting tasks such as preparing journal entries and month-end close procedures
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Stay up-to-date with technical accounting standards and regulations
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Quicken) to record financial transactions accurately

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Proficiency in financial report writing and analysis
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
