    Role Summary:

    As an Intern Marketing and Communications Designer at Cognite, you'll apply your tenacity, problem-solving, and communication skills to support Marketing and Communications activities by delivering high-quality visuals and sales-ready materials for campaigns and operations.


    Situated within our marketing team, which is part of our communications and design teams, you’ll collaborate with several Marketing functions and provide support to other teams within the organization.


    This is an entry-level internship that can develop into a full-time role. Fluency in English is essential. If you're driven, resilient, and passionate about design and marketing, we're eager to welcome you aboard.

    As an Intern Marketing and Communications Designer you will:
    • Assist in the creation and execution of digital marketing materials, including but not limited to: website graphics, social media visuals, email templates and layouts, brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
    • Assist in scripting, editing, and providing motion graphics for videos.
    • Collaborate on setting the visual identity of Cognite.
    • Work closely with different functions in the Marketing team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, aiming to conceptualize and execute designs that align with the company's growth goals.
    • Refining your designs based on team members’ feedback cycles, including testing, reviews, and evaluation.
    • Generate design concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
    • Use graphic design software and tools to produce high-quality visual content.
    • Stay current with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills and enhance your creative output.


    Requirements:
    • Knowledge of visual, brand, and graphic design.
    • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects), and other relevant design software.
    • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • A portfolio showcasing a wide breadth of design work and versatility.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
    • Professional level oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Knowledge of 3D software is a plus.
