Powerstation Events is adding to its team of expertly qualified event professionals in the fields of production and entertainment. This role will help facilitate the meetings, contract building, detailing and completion of events within our Corporate Events division. Prior experience within the industry is essential success within this role.
Ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Audio/Visual and Event Technology
- Computer proficiency required including Mac OS, MS Office and CAD software.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to take independent initiative, as well as work within a team.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a professional appearance.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
What you’ll do:
· Oversee and help enforce safety plans and procedures as instructed
· Help to coordinate the movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel to and from the social event sites
· Help with planning for the timely delivery and setup of all event materials for social events
· Train social tech staff in proper protocols and procedures for equipment, schedules, set ups, etc
· On site event work including but not limited to support to operators, Event Management
· Proactively support the Warehouse Manager in all logistics and functions as needed to ensure seamless warehouse management
