We are helping our client in Manhattan, hire a Director of Marketing.
The Marketing Director is responsible for driving financial advisor’s productivity, revenue and market presence. In this position the Marketing Director will be responsible for providing strategic marketing direction for the office and to selected financial advisors.
Position Responsibilities:
For the firm:
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan and budget
- Promote and build the brand locally to enhance awareness and receptivity within targeted audiences
- Identify target markets, develop a strategic plan to leverage opportunities and engage select financial advisors to execute
- Oversee and execute sponsorships with targeted organizations which provide opportunities for selected financial advisors to connect and engage with ideal prospects, clients and Centers of Influence
- Track and measure marketing program’s impact and overall ROI
- Deliver marketing education and training (workshops and webinars) to selected financial advisors, their marketing team and the office
- Plan, manage and track marketing budgets
For select advisors:
- Direct the development and implementation of customized marketing plans to enhance productivity and grow revenue
- Conduct regularly scheduled marketing consultations with financial advisors and their teams to help drive their marketing plans, budgets, and overall marketing integration
- Serve as the expert and resource on key marketing strategies and tactics for segmentation, prospecting, promotion, client experience, affinity marketing, and center of influence development
Position Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications
- 6-8 years marketing experience
- Proven track record in developing and administering a marketing program with measurable results
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detailed and organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Strong project management and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Financial services experience a plus
- Previous sales or business development experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Understanding of Social Media technologies (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter)
