    Collins Aerospace is looking for a Technician, Material Verification and Control team member to join our Internal Make FAI CoE team. In this position you will create, review, and maintain First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) packages in accordance with AS9102 and HRC QMS documentation.

    *Please note* This will be an ONSITE role at any of the following sites: Carlsbad, CA, Cedar Rapids, IA, Colorado Springs, CO, Coralville, IA, Fairfield, CA or Richardson, TX.

    This position may be eligible for relocation.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Creates First Article Inspection Reports, which includes the review of products and both engineering and manufacturing processes in support of Manufacturing Operations.
    • Maintains quality data records, compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and external customers.
    • Information Management - Uses various software packages to maintain and update documents and records.
    • Monitor and adjust work assignments as priorities dictate.
    • Work with inspectors to assure compliance to quality.
    • Support CORE initiatives through participation and implementation
    • Participate in special FAI projects as assigned.
    • Regularly communicate with all different levels of production support personnel
    • Use good problem-solving skills.
    • Audit adherence to processes and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
    • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Inspection experience and workmanship knowledge preferred.
    • Proficient at reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints
    • SAP Experience
    • Knowledge of DISCUS software and/or Net-Inspect

    The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
