POSITION SUMMARY:
Moves, locates, pulls, counts, ships, and receives inventory in a variety of locations and performs all necessary software transactions. Pick, pack, and ship orders via daily shipping queue. Receives, inspects, documents, locates, and transacts all incoming shipments. Ensures accurate inventory and material processes are followed. Attends to the material requests from Production, Sales, or other personnel. Maintains inventory surrounding discrepant material as well as inspection material.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
· Examines, stocks, and kits materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
· Prepares kitting packages for assembly production, service repair, and sales orders.
· Ships prepared packages according to daily shipping queue.
· Receives daily incoming shipments.
· Ensures incoming shipments are correct according to PO’s.
· Inspects incoming shipments for damage and correctness.
· Transacts all incoming shipments appropriately.
· Maintains cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area
· Performs daily cycle counts, posts inventory counts as applicable, and helps resolve discrepancies
· Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control
· Communicates issues appropriately to all teams
· Responds to requests & inquiries quickly and professionally
· Other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily works in a warehouse environment which may be noisy and fast paced. Because of the nature of the product being produced, high voltage and current conditions exist, and appropriate precautions must be observed.

EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience in storeroom, warehousing, or other material handling position (order pulling experience preferred).
2. Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel desired
3. Experience with UPS WorldShip and or FedEx Ship Manager software a plus.
4. Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems needed.
5. Experience transporting material via pallet jack, forklift, wave lift preferred. Certifications a plus.
EDUCATION:
1. High School Diploma or GED.

3. Works with minimal supervision
4. Certified in multiple areas of Logistics
5. Actively involved in training others and investigating problems
6. Provides leadership for the team; gives guidance and sets priorities
7. Takes on projects and additional duties
8. Helps drive & implement process improvements
9. Acts as a primary point of contact for the Material Handling team
10. 5 years of material handling experience (or equivalent)
