Responsibilities:

• Lead with Vision: Strategically assist in aligning warehouse operations with company policies and vision, ensuring that our objectives are met with precision.
• Maximize Efficiency: Help optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure that operations run smoothly and productivity targets are achieved.
• Champion Compliance: Ensure compliance with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements, maintaining high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
• Streamline Operations: Utilize your expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices to streamline receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Forge Connections: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Bring your expertise with proven work experience as a warehouse assistant, demonstrating your ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse Know-How: Showcase your strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership Abilities: Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Communication Prowess: Communicate with clarity and confidence, fostering strong relationships with team members and external stakeholders.

Schedule & Objectives:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Friday: On call, with availability to rotate and fill in on deliveries or relocations if needed.
• Main Objectives: Ensure trucks are unloaded and loaded correctly, inspect and document received freight, and maintain a clean and safe work environment through warehouse organization and cleaning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 56 per week
