The role you’ll contribute:
The Materials Management Analyst is responsible for data collection, analysis, supporting capital and surgical implant entry into PeopleSoft, and reporting to support supply chain operations. Includes creating ad-hoc and recurring reports using various analytical tools. Reports to department leadership or executive leadership on utilization, validation and tracking opportunities. Responsible for ensuring files related to these activities are maintained and in sync with Corporate files. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Utilizes system reports to manage and assist department personnel in maintaining data and reports to support Supply Chain activities.
- Utilizes financial, clinical, contractual and operational data to produce actionable intelligence and prepare department improvement plans.
- Assists with research, development and completion of special projects as requested by various internal departments.
- Creates and maintains order sheets as requested by clinical departments; works with value analysis team to perform updates as required by product conversions.
- Creates capital requisitions after CER process has been complete (ensures benchmark analysis has been complete and approved supplier is being used).
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to use a keypad and keyboard.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability in use of ERP system.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
- Experience with PeopleSoft system
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience in Materials Management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- 6 months healthcare supply experience
- 6 months experience working in a customer service setting.
