Description
Responsible for ensuring assembly functions have the appropriate amounts of supplies for production.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains weekly schedules for the assembly functions. Prepares and distributes daily production information as required.
- Maintains and verifies counts against inventory control documents and makes adjustments.
- Coordinates and distributes manufacturing schedules.
- Communicates with internal customers.
- Manages work-in-progress inventory levels.
- Reviews inventory items using current item forecasts, MRP reports, backlogs, and inventory levels.
- Prepares and issues various reports.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

- Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
- Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
- Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.).
Education and Experience
- Equivalent of four years of high school (required).
- Three to five years of relevant education or experience in quality control, logistics, or a related area (required).
Computer Skills

Intermediate: Spreadsheet, database.

Basic: Alphanumeric data entry, word processing/typing.
