Materials Planning Manager jobs in Greensboro, NC

What will you do?

• Monitor customer demand and schedule manufacturing lines to meet on time delivery dates
• Plan and control the flow of component materials into the plant, being responsible for maintaining proper stock levels to support demand
• Use SAP S4 to create orders for suppliers and manufacturing, and monitor completion
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, engineering, master data, and quality personnel at the plant, along with suppliers, to ensure successful execution of the schedule to meet goals
• Spend time at the production lines to understand the products and assembly processes
• Lead meetings with the lines of business to report on order status and issues
• Use Material Requirements Planning concepts to set proper material master data, including safety stocks, reorder points, and leadtimes for assigned materials
• Initiate the required creation and change of material master data through workflows
• Complete applicable site and corporate learning classes, both in-person and online
• Understand and follow all plant safety protocols

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• 2 years of supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• 1 years of planning or scheduling in an SAP ERP system
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Advanced data analysis in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree or a high-school degree plus equivalent experience
