Manages the materials and inventory planning functions. Being a Materials Planning Manager requires a bachelor's degree. We are adding to our team in Dedham Ma and seeking a Material Planning Manager to lead purchasing of ingredients for our manufacturing plants located in Havre de Grace Maryland and Chico Ca. . This is a high energy, high growth organization. Successful candidates will be able to operate through all levels of the organization and align processes and systems to fully execute the company’s strategy of growth. This position will ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the purchasing process within the TruRoots organization. This involves purchasing materials for our beverage products, developing purchasing strategies with the director of procurement, managing inventory, and performing purchasing and inventory analysis.
This position is based in Dedham Ma. And requires 4 days per week in office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with production planning and PPRC to understand future scheduling to ensure longer lead time materials are ordered
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:
· Knowledge of business issues, understanding of cross-functional relationships, industry knowledge and use of best practices
· Setting/assigning goals, financial acumen, use of analytics to drive execution
· Problem solving, analytical and project management skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop and analyze complex issues
· Ability to quickly grasp (intuition) key business drivers
