Maternity Services Director is responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-unit operations and staffing. Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery. Being a Maternity Services Director manages the departments operating budget and measures performance using standards established by the hospital. May direct community outreach programs to deliver women's health information and education. Additionally, Maternity Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires registered nurse (RN). The Maternity Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • Williams is hiring a Temporary Plumbing Service Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating and dispatching our team of skilled plumbers to various service calls, ensuring that our customers receive prompt and exceptional service.


    Please note that this is a temporary position starting immediately, covering for an employee on maternity leave, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment, at the company's discretion.

    What You'll Do:

    • Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from work crews, supervisors, and customers.  
    • Ensure integrity of Technicians Debrief Workflow. 
    • Project transition from acceptance to materials ordering. When estimate is signed to lead tech.
    • Job detail and clean up.  
    • Monitor and track orders on “hold” and in field quotes. 
    • Coordinate service and schedules. Dispatch workers to appropriate locations.  
    • Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate helper allocation and schedules. 
    • Record and maintain files or records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information. 
    • Follow up and track order of materials. Confirm and update estimated time of material deliveries. 
    • Work closely with team to provide feedback and training opportunities to leadership. 
    • Assist with overflow of incoming calls and/or making client confirmation calls.
    • Data entry and database management. 
    • Route job orders and material requests to appropriate locations. 
    • Perform follow-up calls for customers and technicians. 
    • Assist with scheduling and allocation of job requests.

    • Communicating with supervisors and peers. Providing information to supervisors and co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

    • Speaking to others to convey information efficiently and effectively. 
    • Some knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.  
    • Some knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the plumbing trade. 
    • Getting information. Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. 
    • Coordination, monitoring and assessing of personnel and service calls. 
    • Proficient with software and company platforms, adhering and adapting to company processes.  
    • Making decisions and solving problems. Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. 
    • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively. 
    • Attention to detail, accurate and thoroughness in completing tasks 
    • Productive time management awareness, eliminating deviations from priorities.
