Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying and solving real/potential problems affecting the service.
    • Active participation in committees and effective communication.
    • Advancing the patient experience agenda.
    • Coaching and providing feedback to subordinates.
    • Adhering to Human Resource policies.
    • Communicating important information to staff.
    • Facilitating employee engagement practices.
    • Building strong relationships to achieve organizational goals.
    • Enforcing standards of emergency department care.
    • Developing, implementing, and evaluating emergency services programs.
    • Monitoring compliance with regulations and policies.
    • Overseeing performance improvement programs.
    • Ensuring departmental operational excellence.
    • Following exposure control plans and safety measures.
    • Seeking program strategies to expand patient services.
    • Managing fiscal resources effectively.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing (required).
    • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration (required).
    • 3 years of experience in emergency services (required).
    • 5 years of leadership experience (required).
    • Valid registered professional nurse license (required).
    • ACLS and PALS certifications (required).
    • CEN and TNCC certifications (preferred).
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination (unless exempted).
