Mechanic Technician maintains and services a building or plant's mechanical equipment, control systems, power distribution systems, and HVAC systems. Performs preventative maintenance and routine repairs to systems and equipment. Being a Mechanic Technician conducts periodic safety and maintenance inspections to evaluate equipment for replacement and identify wear and damage. Uses technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair equipment, engines, and compressors. Additionally, Mechanic Technician orders parts needed for replacement and coordinates with service providers to complete maintenance tasks. Uses a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or work order system to track and document activities. Follows established safety procedures and regulations for hazardous materials handling. May have completed a trade apprenticeship or technical training. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Senior Maintenance Technician
What you will do

The Sr. Maintenance Technician role will be responsible for performing advanced installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and documentation/logs of a wide variety of office utility and facility equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, analytical labs, and office areas.
Responsibilities include:
Developing, writing, and completing various quality systems and safety documentation such as:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Change Control (CCMS), Non-Conformance (NC), Work Orders (WO), Job Plans (JP), Hazard Risk Assessments (HRA), Job Hazard Assessments (JHA), etc.
Responsible for various aspects of building, utility and production systems/equipment
All work must be completed in a safe (in accordance to HRA, JHA, etc), timely manner according to planning and predefined schedules with minimal impact to production while aligning with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOP, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and Amgen procedures. This role interacts with peers and clients in manufacturing, maintenance, utility plants, analytical labs and contracted services.
Provide training for staff, clients and projects, audit support, reviews and technically approves maintenance reports, forms, plans and records, develops, revises, and reviews equipment, maintenance or other related procedures, Interpret and revise loops sheets, electrical schematics, P&ID's, I/O wiring and panel drawings
Available to work various work schedules (days/nights, 8 or 12 hour shifts.)

Associate’s degree and 4 years of maintenance experience OR
High school diploma / GED and 6 years of maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Participate in On-Call rotation for after hour’s facility and manufacturing support and may work outside of established shift hours upon short notice
Experience in building maintenance, mechanical maintenance, plant engineering or related technical field
Experience in an FDA regulated environment (GMP)
Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic fundamentals as well as skills in the use of power and hand tools in the building trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical
Ability to perform general labor duties as needed and may be asked to work in various physical locations
Effective oral and written communication skills
Competence with mathematics, excellent reading skills along with intermediate to advanced computer and typing skills

This position will be paid on an hourly basis. The annualized base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $82,770 - $98,647.
