Status: Full Time (contingent upon task order award)

Education: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6-9 years' Mechanical Engineering Experience within Department of Defense.

Experience/Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with automated engineering tools, applications, and enterprise management programs. Strong analytical, technical writing and verbal skills. Well versed in all Microsoft Office suite products. Experience providing mechanical engineering support.

Description: XCorp Solutions is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineers to provide support to Marine Corps Systems Command.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide On-site Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Quality Control support.
• Review, assess, and develop updates to system engineering processes (e.g., CM, ECPs, and technical reviews).

• Participate in engineering studies, analyses, and reviews commensurate to the Government counterpart.
• Conduct manufacturing analysis.
• Execute acceptance tests and Limited Technical Inspections
• Assist in production planning and production analysis.
• Conduct assessment of the Vendors' production progress and execution.

• Review Vendor manufacturing data and provide technical assessments of the data electronically.
• Prepare and submit manufacturing and quality sections of various acquisition documents, such as Statements of Work, Systems Engineering Plans, Acquisition Strategies, etc.
• Support CM activities (e.g., CCBs, ECPs, RFVs, Deviations, Functional Configuration Audits, and Physical Configuration Audits).
• Perform risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
• Provide engineering and analytical support for survivability analysis in the areas of signature management, countermeasures, armor development, force protection, vulnerability reduction design, and integration for amphibious and ground combat vehicles.

• Review and document issues with drawings and models, coordinate the resolution of the issues, and provide feedback to the Government.
• Provide analysis at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Support evaluation of the performance and effectiveness of candidate designs against thresholds and objectives and provides technical reports documenting results.
