Uses CAD software and other design and modeling tools to develop and improve parts and products. Additionally, Mechanical Engineer conducts analysis and tests to determine weaknesses and failures in prototypes or products. Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Mechanical Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Responsibilities:
Sr. Mechanical Engineers will produce design and procurement documents for mechanical systems and specialty, first of a kind equipment. Equipment examples include pressure vessels, piping systems, gloveboxes, furnaces, high vacuum systems, gas transfer/analysis systems, process skids, metal casting, and machining equipment.
