GOOD HILL MECHANICAL SERVICES is currently seeking HVAC Installers to join our team comprised of
creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every
day. Our Installers serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and
replacing HVAC equipment as well as installing add-on accessories when needed while providing quality work
while following all applicable local and national codes. The role will serve as a mentor and coach to both
apprentice and entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?
Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to : ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas
or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump);
Maintain good working order of company vehicle;
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle;
Travel to job sites in the service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and
delays are properly communicated to the customer as well as the office;
Design Duct Systems for optimal comfort and efficiency;
Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC
system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement;
Participate in company-provided training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry
technologies; and
Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor.
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?
2 years experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and
perform replacement of HVAC-related components such as air conditioners heat pumps, furnaces
air handlers, duct work zone systems, thermostats, air filters/filtration systems, and low and high
voltage wiring;
Type II EPA Certification;
Strong interpersonal customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations;
Minimum Tool Requirements: basic hand tools- i.e., wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, hammer and
cordless tools;
Minimum Testing Equipment usage: Refrigerant Gauges, Manometer, Magnahelic, C/O Detector,
Psychrometer, and Micron Gauge
Working knowledge of city codes;
Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time; and
Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs.
We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Home Service HVAC Installation Technicians. One to two years of
experience! We provide paid training to help get you started! Position is eligible for a hiring incentive!
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements:
One year field installation required;
Mechanical aptitude;
Able to manage physical workload, lift and carry 120-150 lbs.;
Able to routinely stand, bend, sit, crawl and drive;
Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders, work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs;
Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image;
Provide exceptional customer service while on the job site;
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks daily;
Able to perform and be results-driven in a high-energy environment;
Have attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems;
Creating a Materials List to identify proper materials required for installations;
Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements;
Perform routine preventative maintenance;
Maintain a positive attitude with customers while communicating details of work being performed and
how to operate new systems;
Document service and installation by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and records;
Complete all tasks in accordance with our company’s quality and safety standards;
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
Meet quality metrics and maintain an advanced installation skill set in duct work, advanced and
complicated installations, and client satisfaction; and
Required to train Install Apprentices through the HVAC installation process.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
3 Years Experience in HVAC Installation
Strong leadership and team management skills
EPA certificate
Proficient technical skills and troubleshooting
Strong customer service skills
Ability to understand and speak English
Be willing to support all areas of our business and excel within a team environment
