Job Summary/Description:

WALB News 10 in Albany, Georgia is looking for a Digital Producer to join our award-winning news team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for journalists, with potential for on-air work and opportunities for additional training and career growth! A WALB Digital Producers are responsible for content on multiple digital platforms, including web, social media, and livestreaming. We have a digital-first mindset at WALB, which is why we have some of the top-performing digital metrics in the company. Our digital producers embrace creative ways to tell stories, using tools like canva and applying research-based social media strategies. We cross-train new employees to learn all aspects of our news delivery processes. Opportunities for growth abound!

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education background in either journalism or communications.
• Must be flexible with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts.
• Must be willing to work in the newsroom.
