Our Optometric private practice is seeking a reliable and compassionate front desk receptionist in Valrico, FL.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent experience in an Optometric office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients
• Checking patients in and out
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Looking up and interpreting vision and medical plans
• Filing vision plans

Office hours 9:00am to 2:00pm on Monday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Friday.

Pay rate is scaled on experience and appropriate certification (CPO/CPOA). We also offer testing through our optometric association for certification, with pay raises with each examination that you pass.

Having experience with OfficeMate is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
