Being a Media Coordinator is primarily an administrative role. May require a bachelor's/associate's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Media Coordinator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Performs intermediate professional work developing and maintaining the library collection, attending
and leading various meetings, assisting students and teachers with technology operation in the media
center, maintaining library materials and collections, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is
performed under the moderate supervision of the principal.
