Media Coordinator is responsible for placing, confirming and monitoring media orders. May assist in research for the development of the media plan. Being a Media Coordinator is primarily an administrative role. May require a bachelor's/associate's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Media Coordinator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.   • Alpha Media in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a talented, professional part-time Board Operator to run programming on our stations KBTE/KLLL/KMMX/KONE-FM. The ideal candidate must be able to work flexible hours and be available for additional shifts when necessary. Weekend availability is a must.
    Responsibilities of this position may include the following:
    • Operate on-air console and audio controls.
    • Monitor station transmitters.
    • Accurately log discrepancies.
    • Maintain studio equipment and logs.
    • Understand the procedures to follow in case of a computer crash or loss of broadcast signal.
    • Communicate with the station Program Director in the event of any concerns, issues, or problems with the broadcast.
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager or Market Manager.
    Requirements for this position include the following:
    • Knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations.
    • Knowledge of EAS system and legal requirements.
    • Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels.
    • Proficient in running radio automation systems.
    Preference may be given to candidates who have the above experience plus the following:
    • Previous experience in commercial or non-commercial broadcast media.
    • Experience operating automation systems.
    • Experience running radio automation systems, such as Wide Orbit.
