The Sales Manager will oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing, ensuring that clients receive outstanding service. This role involves managing the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, setting goals, and ensuring that the company meets its revenue targets. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for nurturing and growing client relationships in the residential and commercial landscaping sectors.

JOB DUTIES AS A SALES MANAGER:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in both residential and commercial landscaping services.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching and training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Client Relations: Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their landscaping needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Lead Generation: Oversee lead generation efforts through various channels (e.g., online marketing, referrals, community outreach).
- Sales Targets: Set, track, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Report on sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Quoting and Proposals: Prepare detailed project proposals, quotes, and contracts based on client consultations and site visits.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, monitor competitors, and understand industry trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of client projects.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns, resolving issues, and providing post-project follow-ups.
- Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for growth.
QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A SALES MANAGER:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in the landscaping, construction, or design industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field/ Taking up a bachelor’s degree in degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, or outdoor design services.
- Experience working in a B2B and B2C sales environment.
