Media Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding research and development of media plans, identifying target audience and ideal media outlets. Approves media mix and frequency as appropriate to client budget and objectives. Being a Media Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Media Supervisor relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Utilize industry-standard software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create multimedia content. Assist with print publication pagination and production workflow as needed. Multimedia Production: Produce multimedia assets for various digital platforms such as websites, social media, mobile applications, and presentations. Edit and enhance audio, video, and image content to ensure high-quality output. Collaborate with content creators, writers, and developers to integrate multimedia elements seamlessly into projects. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project objectives, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions as needed. Maintain organized files and documentation to facilitate project tracking and asset management per company procedures. Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in multimedia design. Experiment with new techniques and technologies to enhance the visual appeal and interactivity of multimedia content. Provide recommendations for innovative multimedia strategies to improve audience engagement and brand perception. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and functionality of multimedia assets across different platforms and devices. Address any technical issues or discrepancies in multimedia content to maintain a seamless user experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or related field OR equivalent work experience. Proven experience in multimedia design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia projects. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, Premier Pro, InDesign and other relevant applications. Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro). Familiarity with web design principles, user interface (UI) design, and responsive design techniques. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual aesthetics. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual quality and consistency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
