Job Summary:
The Hybrid Medical Billing Specialist plays a crucial role by overseeing the processing of Medicaid and private insurance claims. This individual will utilize their expertise in medical billing to ensure accuracy and efficiency in claim submissions and resolve any issues that may arise during the billing process.

Essential Job Duties:

• Process electronic medical billing using credible software, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
• Run edit reports within our system to identify non-billable items, critical errors, and claims held for authorizations.
• Distribute error reports and claim held reports to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Apply medical payments into the Credible system accurately and efficiently.
• Research claim denials and exceptions to determine root causes and take appropriate action for resolution.

Education/Licenses and Experience Qualifications Required:

• Associate of Arts degree in Business or Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing
• Proficiency in using billing software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and private insurance billing procedures and regulations
