Capital Claims Management ("CCM") is a boutique insurance claims adjusting firm providing claims handling/defense and program management services to insurance carriers. In this role, you will be primarily adjusting third-party claims associated with Professional Liability (E&O) and Commercial General Liability.

Claims Adjuster Trainees will review and determine coverage, investigate, analyze liability, and resolve assigned claims.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and formulate coverage positions by reviewing contracts and insurance policies. Prepare Declination of Coverage and Reservation of Rights letters if required.
2. Interview and correspond with insureds, claimants, and witnesses to complete liability investigations. Prepare Denial of Liability letters if required.
3. Calculate, maintain reserves, and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit.
4. Negotiate and settle losses within given authority.
Qualifications:
1. Prior Insurance, Banking, Legal or Accounting experience is preferred.
2. Excellent customer focus and conflict resolution skills.
3. Superb written and verbal communication skills.
4. Deadline and detail-oriented with time management skills.
5. A Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
6. Experience and knowledge of residential construction a plus.
