MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN jobs in Laramie, WY

We are seeking to hire an individual to work from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. OR someone who wants to work 12PM to 8:30 PM.

What does an assembly worker in the tritium lab do? You will perform various tasks to assist with preparing and loading the tritium into the light pipes. You will also be required to work in other areas around the plant to assist with the assembly and processing required to produce finished products.

You will be required to submit a urine sample for analysis to assess the current level of tritium that naturally occurs in your body. You will not be able to enter the lab until the results of this test are complete and complete a training required by the NRC. This will be routine throughout your employment to monitor your levels.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including quality, and safety.
• Work respectfully with the team.
• Prepare, set-up and assemble components needed for production.
• Work in various departments as needed for Assembly and production work.
• Sit for extended periods of time and work with small parts.
• Follow both written and verbal work instructions.
• Operate equipment for the assembly and processing required to produce finished products.
• Complete assignments in a timely fashion, stay on task, minimize interruptions of work.

Required Education and Experience

Successful candidates must be able sit for extended periods of time and work with their hands manipulating small parts and work well with a team. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Preferred skills would include: Previous assembly work in a manufacturing environment. Consistent and stable work history is a plus.

Must submit to a bioassay, complete a training required by the NRC, pass a background check, and a drug test as a condition of employment.

Pay: From $15.52 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
